Barn Conversion In Bedfordshire
A property developer approached us with a proposal to finance a barn-conversion project.
They had exchanged contracts on the purchase but with a long completion date as the plan was to complete the conversion and sell within the timeframe of the contract. However, delays with another project meant this was not possible.
We were able to assist by lending the developer 60% of the property value. It was sufficient to complete the purchase, plus provide additional funding to complete the intended development.
The result is an exclusive property with a very high specification, set in a semi-rural location, and an easy commute to London.
